(The story)
A food discovery app that feels like a party, with a colour system that works in dark mode.
The brief
Byte helps people find the best food within ten minutes of where they are standing. The beta worked, but it looked like a spreadsheet and nobody opened it twice.
What we did
We designed a confetti-bright visual language, a set of motion principles and 60+ screens. Every colour was tested for contrast in light and dark mode before a single screen shipped.
The result
Byte launched in four cities with a 4.8-star rating from more than 21,000 reviews, and weekly active use doubled.
